NBA Draft Rankings

The NBA Draft is hours away as we come closer and closer to teams trying to add to their roster for a shot at greatness for years to come.

This year, the draft is loaded in the Top 5 and has some good value to be had in the Top 15 as well. The Suns and Clippers have the best chance to be successful on Thursday night as they both have two picks in the first 16.

Memphis is still in a good position despite dropping two spots on lottery night. Who's available by the time their pick comes around is marginally close right now.

Chicago Cleveland and New York are in a tough position and a lot of it might depend on what players fall down. If the draft goes as what the Mocks say then it might be a good idea to pick to reach a bit as there are definitely good talent at 11-15.

Here is my player rankings from 1-20. Keep in mind, this is not based on where players will go, but just on talent level.

DeAndre Ayton
The Suns really have no choice but to take Ayton. They need Defense as well
Trae Young
The Kings might pass on a really good player. I get it they have Fox but the wrong pick at #2 could hunt them.
3. Marvin Bagley
If he is avaiable at 3, Atlanta should take the Duke Power Forward. Just look what Forwards have done to the 76ers
4. Luka Doncic
The Grizzlies have never had a guard that would as good as Doncic. Passing on him would be painful.
5. Wendell Carter
This is the safe pick at #5 for Mavs. Not worth reaching for Sexton at this spot.
6. Jaren Jackson Jr.
Some say this guy could go Top 4. Again I like to think this guy will be a player
7. Collin Sexton
Chicago needs just about everything. Start with a Point Guard.
8. Michael Porter
The #1 pick at this time last year. Has potential if he stays healthy.
9. Mikal Bridges
The guy is a winner. Best 9th pick in a long time.
10. Zhaire Smith
The guy is special. In other drafts would be Top 10.
11. Mohamed Bamba
He drops in my rankings cause it's an offensive game. The team who picks him will be taking a risk with lots of reward.
12. Shai Gilgeous-Al...
A Kentucky Point Guard is always a safe pick. More importantly he is Canadian
13. Kevin Knox
Another player that has no business being picked this late in the draft.
14. Miles Bridges
Could have came out last year. Needs to be more players like him.
15. Donte DiVincenzo
If this guy heads to a playoff team, he could have a huge impact.
16. Troy Brown
Had high expectations going into his year at Oregon. That should help him the rest of the year.
17. Omari Spellman
More good value late in the draft.
18. Aaron Holiday
Comes from a basketball family. Justin and Jure.
19. Moritz Wagner
Had a Coming out party in March Madness. Could be a nice pick at 19.
20. Gary Trent Jr.
Will be a good player with the right teammates.

I think it will be a really fun night Thursday. Quite honestly I think its a boom or bust draft. There will be a few busts in this draft but a few teams will hit home runs.
