Again, Beat the Streak is back this year and I'm really hoping to play this year. The way it works is you pick a player everyday and if your player gets a hit 57 times in a row you win 5.6 Million dollars.
Seems easy right? First of all, remembering to play is hard. In our day to day lives of running around it is hard to remember. But hey, there is always a chance right? I honestly wouldn't know what to do with 5.6 Million.
Last night I watched the Mets game at 10PM Seattle time. I finished at about 12:30am. Was disappointed with the result but it's only 1 game. Predictably, the Mets pitching is going to carry this team. If the offense can stay healthy than this team will be right there in the middle of the Wildcard race at the very least.
So many over reactions happen in the first week of baseball. Lots of 5-2 teams in the past have still finished with 90 losses and lots of 2-5 teams still easily can win 90 games. It works both ways.
Looking forward on seeing what this team has in store for their fans in the short term and the long term.
The games on SNY really make me feel good about myself. The theme music makes me feel that anything is possible on any given day. That is a really good motto to have in life because anything is possible.
Looking forward to tonight's game as we go for the series win with the Dark Knight taking the hill in Matt Harvey.
